Osmotherley Pre-school is an inclusive, award winning setting and has an excellent reputation within North Yorkshire. We are open Monday to Friday and offer pre-school sessions during term-time only. We are open 9.00am until 12.00 noon on Mondays and Fridays and 9.00am until 3.30pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. We offer a breakfast club (Monday to Friday) from 8.00am for pre-school children and Osmotherley Primary School pupils (escorted to school at 8.50am). We also offer after-school care on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for pre-school children and Osmotherley Primary School pupils (3.30pm until 5.45pm), where the children are escorted from school to our setting. During the school holidays we also offer Holiday club provision, dependant on demand. We are situated on the same site as the village primary school and have extensive access to the outdoors.
The setting is well resourced and promotes free-flow continuous provision with an emphasis on being ‘forest friendly’. Staff respect children’s uniqueness and individuality and work very closely with parents – we focus on holistic development and Ofsted judged us outstanding in many areas.
Our latest Ofsted inspection was in December 2017, when we were awarded OUTSTANDING in all areas, and our report speaks for itself. To view the report and for further information log onto www.ofsted.gov.uk.
